LIZBETH PINELO MUÑOZ (FOUNDER)
Lizbeth Pinelo Muñoz is the visionary founder and General Manager of AmaruMayu Jewelry. Since 2001, she has led a brand that fuses Andean heritage with contemporary design. With a background in management and a profound connection to Cusco’s culture, Lizbeth guides every aspect of the company: from the creation of new collections to the opening of boutiques in iconic hotels, consolidating an authentic identity of the highest quality.
Lizbeth leads with passion and drives social innovation: her team is made up of artisans from high-Andean communities, single mothers, and seniors, providing fair job opportunities while preserving traditional knowledge. Her leadership has gained international recognition, leading AmaruMayu to be selected for global craft exhibitions such as Artesanías de Colombia.
Her vision is clear: to rediscover and share ancestral Peruvian art, elevating precious metal jewelry to an international level through ethical and sustainable practices. Thanks to her energy and commitment, AmaruMayu is today a synonym for elegance, culture, and social responsibility.
